ABOUT THE CAR
An Ex-Military Series 3 LWB (109) three-seater, single-cab.
It is fitted with the ever so desirable 2. 25 petrol engine instead of a diesel which makes roofless cruising much more enjoyable. It is fitted with the highly desirable BF Goodrich KM2 tyres which look great on black rims.
Recently it has been spray painted in Heritage Pastel Green and despite it not being a £15-20k professional paint job the car had been sanded down mostly to bare metal and x2 layers of undercoat and another two of the green paint had been applied.
New items fitted in the last few months:
• spot-lights all around including indicators
• new number plate light
• glazed door tops
• front door and roof seals
• air vent seals
• rubbers boot gaiter on all the cabin levers and handbrake
• ignition cables
• ignition coil
• windscreen washer pump
• carburettor vent hose
• new floor mats
• dual USB charge point with the battery voltage display
Included in the sale:
• Rhino Winch at the back as I used to carry my motorbike on it
• two spare Good Year Tyres (used)
• bull bar (not fitted)
• Hella Rally 1000 fog lights (not fitted)

CONDITION:
It is in a good condition but not perfect and is not a restored example.
The truck has been mostly garaged in the current ownership but still had a coat of wax oil applied to the chassis before last winter.
Both chassis and bulkhead look good and solid but as on most Series cars it shows previous repair signs. Car passed its MOT in June with no rust advisories.
Electrics are all in working order.
All in all a very reasonably priced Series 3 with nothing much to do unless you want to do a full restoration on it. There’s not many 109’s on the market so don’t miss out.
