First day of spring at Goodwood wasn’t very sunny yet it was very special.
With spectacular historic races and number of period off-track games and attractions it was a great way to welcome spring in typical Goodwood style.
Machines at this years 74th Members Meeting were spectacular. To list a few, you could see (on and off the track) 100+ year old Edwardian racers, several decades worth of F1 and F3 cars, the amazing LeMans vehicles including Porsche 917’s, Ferrari 512’s, McLaren’s and a large number of Ford’s fbolous GT40’s. If you think this is more than enough then you’re totally wrong! There was a good number of motoring celebrities, touring cars and super touring cars as well as… for the very first time 2-stroke grand prix vintage motorbikes that raced from 1970-1982.
If you’d like to experience classic and historic races at Goodwood go here to book tickets for this years Goodwood Revival.
This is a very detailed coverage of the first day of spring at Goodwood’s 74th Members Meeting (Sunday) so we split it into groups. Scroll through and enjoy!
