A restoration was carried out around 2010-2013, the car was taken off the road, repainted and given a number of cosmetic and mechanical repairs as required. The new seats were fitted at this stage too, completing a thorough refresh of the car. It was then purchased by a collector as a gift for his wife in early 2013.

Thereafter, the car was only used rather sparingly, completing only around 600 miles in the next 9 years, taken to shows and enjoyed as a weekend car and of course for annual trips to the MOT station.

The current owner (a family friend of the previous keeper, to whom it was sold as a result of the lack of time to use it by the collector and his wife) has owned the car since August 2022, and has completed almost 1,000 miles of fun filled driving during that time.

The vehicle has been serviced and maintained during this time, also having benefitted from a number of new parts, such as a brake master cylinder to repair a fluid leak, and a halogen headlight conversion to improve low light visibility.

A number of cosmetic upgrades have also been applied to the car, such as the stunning 13” wooden Moto-Lita Steering wheel and chrome steering boss, a Wood and Pickett chrome number plate lamp holder, chrome wing mirrors and interior mirror, and a set of 12” Revolution alloy wheels, wearing premium Yokohama tyres all round.
